*AAAAAaaaarrrrrghhhh!*

*Takes a deep breath*

OK, it's not a huge crisis, but dammit, it sucks. So Patch and I have this convienient set up where he drops me off at the Train station on his way to work and picks me up on his way home. It's been working so well, I went out and actually bought a pass for the month of February. That was yesterday.

Today, Patch's place of employment informs him that they are changing his schedule. He now has to be in the office at 7:30 in the am! If he were to give me a ride to the station, I'd need to be up at 5:30, to be ready between 6:30 and 7:00. I'd be getting to work by 7:30 and either have to shift my schedule, which my supervisor isn't very interested in doing, or find a way to kill time until 9am.

Patch suggested I join a gym near me. Which is a possibility, but involves spending money. The other possibility is I take the bus in the morning. I *HATE* taking the bus. The train is no stress, I have no connecting anything I have to worry about. The bus, the bus is two buses I have to catch on time, provided they are not running early, or late. I'm certainly not taking the bus in fowl weather. I took the bus for six fucking years and swore I'd never take public transport in this city again! Dammit! I was just getting over that and I'm willing to give it a try, but I'm not happy about it and I don't indend to enjoy myself. *grumble* *fuss* *grumble* *bitch* *moan*

What about the option of a bicycle to the train station?

Oh, POO.

If'n you decide you wanna enjoy yourself just a bit, as a partial antidote of even just a few minutes from this annoyingness - even though it won't resolve the problems it might make you feel better for a bit, you can do what I did earlier today when Everything Became Just Too Much: I stepped outside and blew bubbles for about 5 minutes (after finding a bottle of Mr Bubbles in amongst the stuff to pack).

You can take your bike with you on the train...

*chuckle* That sounds like a lovely stress reliever. I'll have to remember that. (and get a bottle of bubbles to keep in my desk)
