I walked through the door last night at the Monster House viewing and lifeofreilly pulled me aside to tell me he had bought a cake for Patch's birthday. There was no prompting on my part, it was all him.

Patch was thrilled. I saw that look on his face. He was really happy to have a bunch of friends celebrating his day with him.
