I am beat. This weekend took alot out of me.
Faire opened late, of course. There wa no breakfast to be found so after parade went by, our (Tickle) girls got Fish & Chips. Man, I miss those outside of faire. (Note: cold fries are icky.)
Speaking of Cold. Opening day was dreary but not awful, weather-wise. While it was pretty dead initially (I think I heard the echoes of opening parade for about a 1/2 hour after it was over.)
The crowds weren't anything to write home about(No smartass - this doesn't count as writing home), we were busy and had decent business. I certainly didn't notice any special reluctance to spend money.
Overall, it was alovely day of seeing old friends and catching-up.
Sunday on the other hannd... was cold, dark and empty. Did I mention cold? I ended the day with a headache and a desperate need for sleep, in the warmth of my own home.
Highlights: Fish & Chips and Friends!
Lowpoint: A participant thefting a bodice from our booth, returning to exchange it because it was too big (XXX-Large as opposed to a Medium) and the ensuing drama.
