nightrythmI want to begin by thanking the folks at the Alysum for a really great St. Patrick's day party!
I must admit, I had my doubts about how the new venue would turn out. Part of it had to do with the fact that there is usually trouble when you invite gobs of people. And the other part was that parking was very scarce. But let me tell you, once inside, it was great.
No one got overly drunk (either pukey or obnoxious). There was no drama to speak of. Everyone I talked to was having a good time. And, the best thing of all, the party ended up being a convergence of several social circles.
It was also a good warm up for faire. I managed to maintain an all night buzz, visit with different friends, sing and dance. All in all, it was a good night.
