Despite the fact that I've been responding and posting, my life is pretty crazy right now.

Work is crazy with reports and deadlines. Work on top of more work. Therefore, I break away and demand some time to goof off. (probably more than I should, even)

Then, in my "spare" moments, I'm calling places and setting up appointments to see houses. This takes not only the search and the note taking, but the coordinating with the various peoples I'm supposed to share a house with. I'm feeling rushed, maybe even overscheduled.

The funny thing is, I always feel this way during fair season. My weekends are completly booked, so I have only the week to get those things done that need to get done. I always try to schedule one day of come home and become one with the couch. But somehow... even though I manage to sit on my butt for a couple of hours before bedtime, I don't feel like I'm getting much of a break.

I'm also drowning in correspondence right now. Which is kinda cool actually. But my last column garnered a bunch of responses. I've got old friends coming out of the woodwork, making contact and saying hi. It's cool, 'cause they are people I thought I lost.

I need a social secretary - any volunteers?

I toallty get what you mean. I get to come home a unwind for a short time at night, but it's just not enough after you add in my commute on top of a full work day. Plus I'm working all the Saturday's this month and next doing Orientation tours. (Fun but very exhausting work.) That's why I told Mom I was not coming up to the house this Sunday to work. I need at least one day where I don't need to set an alarm to wake up and have a list of places to be. Byron and I have designated Sunday as become one with the couch day. We have NetFlix to keep us occupied and the store is mere moments away.
