nightrythmI decided against taking the westbound bus, because it turned out not to be an MTA bus. And, since the whole point of this excercise is to use the monthly pass I bought...
So I took the same eastbound bus as yesterday, only earlier. I was out of my house around 7:35 to catch the 7:43 bus. I got off the bus, a much closer two stops later to take a different north/south bus than yesterday. I actually felt pretty stupid taking the bus such a short distance. I'm going to review some walking routes that will take me directly to the north/south bus.
The second bus, like yesterday, was more crowded. However, when we stopped a the high school it opened up significantly. Of course, by the time we got to the train station, it was full again.
This was definitely a shorter bus ride than yesterday. The only issue I have with it is the time-table. There is no reason I should arrive at work at 8:15am, not when I start at 9am. I need to review the schedule and see how much later the later bus makes me.
