Well, maybe not. I let
vincentroland taste my fried chicken and my root beer and play with seige weapons! I encouraged the substitution of food for tears and laughed myself silly while he tried to communicate with the cat.
V walked over to where Loaf was lounging on the couch, thumping his tail and started thumping the couch (right next to Loaf's tail) with his hand. The he crowed and laughed and did his "I'm cute, pay attention to me!" thing that works so well with us humans. I told him at that point that the cat wasn't buying it, but he tried some more. Sure enough, Loaf ignored him. V being a smart boy toddled off to look at something else.
I find it funny that D'Argtagon hid away the whole time. Loaf meanwhile paraded around, two steps ahead of the boy, or a step behind him (eating his graham cracker crumbs).
Once again, Patch proved entertaining to V, mostly by tickling me so I squeeled. But pretty much anytime Patch moved or made any noise, V focused all his attention on Patch. He wanted to know what Patch was up to. However, when I tried to sit near Patch while holding
vincentroland, he would have none of it (then again, neither would Patch).
I also find it amazing how easily amused he is (oooo! it makes noise!) and yet, how persistant he can be (I want what is in *your* cup). I really had a good time tonight. I hope he did as well.

I wish I knew how to make fried chicken. My ex-roomate was southern and *she* knew how to make fried chicken, damn, I miss that girl sometimes.
