While on the Texas Supreme Court, he sided with a minor who wanted to have an abortion.
He's also been shown to support affermative action.
He wrote up the rules about "non-combatant" prisoners at Gitmo and explained how the Geneva convention didn't apply to them.
Do some research. Make a decision. Write to your conresspersons. Gonzales's appointment still needs to be approved.
