nightrythmI had a marvelous NY's Eve! I got to hang out with Timmy & Lisa and watch the babe sleep. I danced with my "cousin" Victor and his date. I also got to dance with Kimmie (and kiss her no less)! I admit, I didn't leave the purple room too much, but I feel like I had good conversations with the people I spoke to.
There were other folks that I wanted to talk to, but the party was so crowded that we missed each other. I just really had a great time! Thank you Jonathan!
New Year's day, we were all sleeping off the night before. I got to watch an encore of the Rose parade. I also watched Young Mr. Alex play Half-Life 2 for a good part of the day. The only draw back to that was that it kept playing in my head during my late night indulgence. The night was just Caddy, Patch, Nomi, Giancarlo and myself. We hung out, snuggled and talked until almost dawn. Poor Taliesin eventually came home to find us snuggled in his bed. It's really the only one in the house that fits five.
Today, I've spent most of the day sitting on the couch with various roomies, watching Firefly and a movie or two. It's been restful and lovely, and I don't have to go back to work until Tuesday. Yup, I've got a good start on a new year.
