My inferiority complex is coupled with narcissism, making me the piece of sh!t that the universe revolves around =)
The last thing I want to do is get into a "who's more damaged" contest with anyone. Odds are, the other person would win -- and what kind of "winning" is that? We shouldn't get into the position of feeling that our pain doesn't count because it didn't involve sexual abuse, alcoholism or broken bones. The idea is to rise above the pain, whatever it was.
Like I said a few columns back "We are all survivors."
Luckily I've actually gotten the "my drama is bigger than your drama" people out of my life. Now it's just my internal monologue when my friends are crying on my shoulder.
