Work trouble

I know it's stupid, but this is a perfect example of what gets my goat. I call the boss to check in. As part of this I tell her we got a call from a vendor requesting a W9 and that I will be sending it out. She turns to her partner and asks him if it's OK for me to do that. He takes the phone, proceeds to give me instructions on *how* to fill out the W9, tells me to send it and tells me that it's a "perfectly reasonable request".

I am not an idiot!!!! I *know* it's a reasonable request. I have no f*cking clue why she even asked him if it was OK! If we want to get paid we need to give them the form. How hard is that? *ugh!*

Somehow, even when I'm doing something right, I have to be corrected for it. *grumble*

She's an idiot. It's really that simple. Unfortunately, she's your micromanaging perhaps-a-bit-of-a-control-freak boss, so it's not that simple after all. Best wishes for getting OUT ASAP...and into a good sitch...for many reasons, your sanity/emotional health not least of 'em.
